TBS Electronics BV is a privately owned family company founded in 1984 by current managing director Hans Schouten.
The latest power conversion techniques and DSP applications are closely followed and applied by our R&D team.
Starting with a complete range of highly sophisticated DC to AC sinewave inverters, we were one of the first companies in the world to introduce a small high quality and affordable true sinewave inverter back in 1996.

TBS started with the design and production of toroidal transformers, followed by electronics and software design in the early nineties. Until 2006, TBS mainly operated as an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for other companies. But after that, our focus was shifted towards designing and marketing TBS branded equipment. Over the past years we have successfully worked on a comprehensive lineup of power conversion and instrumentation products, intended for use in independent power applications. All these products have an excellent reputation for reliability and innovation. In the coming years we will further expand and optimize our product portfolio. In order to complement the high current fuseholders from our DC Modular lineup, we are now able to supply the required fuses as well. All products are designed and manufactured in The Netherlands. Advanced high power programmable battery chargers, designed for continuous duty charging. Combined inverter and battery charger units, offers many innovative features and great reliability. Over the past years we have successfully worked on a comprehensive lineup of power conversion and instrumentation products. Using Trigger Action to only activate charger when the battery voltage drops below certain value. These high power true sinewave inverters, are ideal to power groups of electrical equipment. Very high peak power ratings allow control over the most demanding loads. Great overall performance, conservative output power specifications and robust build quality, ensure trouble free operation for many years. These inverters can be offered with three different AC output socket types. It consists of an intelligent shunt and a remote control and display unit. The shunt has a Grid Optimized footprint for perfect integration with our DC Modular products. It also offers a large amount of additional features to optimally supervise your battery system and control external equipment. Despite being our base model, it still shares the same accurate measurement and calculation technology of the Pro model.
